Corrections are the most useful thing you can send us. Everything else is welcome too.

If you are reporting a correction
Please include the page and the specific figure, and where the correct number comes from. We can check a manufacturer’s page in a minute; we cannot check an assertion at all, so a source turns a message we have to investigate into a fix we can make today.
How corrections are handled, and what we count as a correction rather than an edit, is on the editorial policy page.
What we cannot help with
- Anything medical. We are not veterinarians and we will not guess about your cat’s health. Please speak to your vet.
- Orders, deliveries, returns and warranties. We are not a retailer. If you bought something through one of our links, the retailer holds your order — contact them.
- Paid placement. We do not sell it, and we are not going to start. See the affiliate disclosure.
If you are a brand
We are happy to receive corrections to specifications, notices of product revisions, and links to documentation we have missed — those genuinely improve the pages. We do not accept free products, sponsored placements or paid links, and we will not agree to review anything in advance of publication.
What makes a message easy to act on
We are one person and a spreadsheet, so the difference between a message we can act on today and one that sits in a queue is usually just detail. The most useful messages tend to look like this:
- The page and the figure. “The liner price on the running-costs page” is enough; we can find the rest.
- Where the correct number comes from. A link to the manufacturer’s page beats an assertion by a wide margin, because we can verify a link in a minute and cannot verify an assertion at all.
- What changed, if something did. Manufacturers revise capacities and ratings between production runs without renaming the product, and that is one of the hardest things for us to catch on our own.
- A product we have missed, with a link to its published specifications. We will not add anything we cannot source.
You do not need to be polite about it. A blunt “this number is wrong” with a source attached is genuinely the most valuable thing anyone sends us, and it is the entire reason we show the arithmetic in the first place.
Send a message
We are a small operation and read everything, but we cannot promise a reply to every message. Corrections get answered.
